We hope you enjoy your handcrafted shampoo bar experience. Our Shampoo bars do not contain sodium laurel sulfate (SLS) found in many commercial shampoos and originally developed to clean floors, car engines and in car washes. These chemicals may contribute to scalp irritations, dryness, dandruff, and hair loss. Use: The first few times you use handcrafted shampoo bars you may notice a gummy residue being lifted from the hair shaft. This residue buildup is from commercial shampoos, gels, mousse and other hair products. After shampooing, we recommend applying apple cider vinegar and rinsing with water. This is even more important if you live in a hard water area. To make an apple cider rinse, mix up to l/ 3 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1 cup water and apply to hair and rinse. Or, if you prefer keep a labeled spray bottle of apple cider vinegar in your shower area. Spritz hair with vinegar, then rinse. The vinegar aroma will dissipate as your hair dries.
